Our client, a Port-Harcourt headquartered major player in the Oil and Gas sector, has vacancy for a very experienced and professionally qualified Accountant to fill the position below in their company.
Position: Accounts Manager
- The Accounts Manager will be based in Port-Harcourt and be responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures. The incumbent shall be versed in both financial and management accounting as well as auditing, taxation and financial information analysis. Preparation of all nature of accounts is a major part of the role on offer.
Education and Experience:
- The right candidate for this job must hold a degree or its equivalent in addition to appropriate professional qualifications in accounting such as ACA, ACCA or CPA. The incumbent must demonstrate adequate knowledge of economic principles, taxation and auditing principles as well as accounting standards, laws and regulations relating to the Oil and Gas industry is compulsory for the job. A Masters degree may be an added advantage.
