Vacancies: Assistant Contract Adviser, Head QAQC/ HSE Management
We require suitable qualified candidates to fill the position in a leading oil and gas services company.
Position: Assistant Contract Adviser
Task and Responsibilities
Contract Review
- Review tender contract, and update checklist template in the system.
- Coordinate feedback session with all stakeholders regarding key legal contract ramifications and issues.
- As necessary liaise with Company Lawyer, for clarification and direction about legal aspects and liabilities and prepare correspondence requesting Client to provide amendments to the original contract.
- Liaise with Client, and all internal stakeholders for obtaining agreement and contract sign off.
Skills, Education, Experience:
- A good university degree in Accounting/MBA plus Commercial Law or Engineering plus MBA or Commercial Law
- Minimum of 8 years of contracts administration experience preferably on Oil and gas engineering projects.
- Experience executing oil and gas engineering contracts.
- Adept at the development of detailed contractual terms and conditions.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience working effectively with engineers and understand their technical plans and specifications.
- Experience in project management, sourcing and establishing relationships to win business for the company
Position: Head QAQC/ HSE Management
The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing, developing, promoting, implementing, administering and maintaining companywide QAQC and HSE management standards.
Skills, Education, Experience:
- A good university degree in engineering or Sciences discipline
- Professional qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 auditor certificates etc
- Minimum of 8 years of managing the QAQC/ HSE function for production facilities/projects with at least 2 years of leading a quality management system.
- Proven leadership record within the Oil and gas or related industry and experience in managing HSE within green and brown field environments.
- Good knowledge of QMS, Health, Safety and Environmental management standards e.g. ISO 9001, HSE statutory instruments OSHAS 18000 etc.
- Experience in audits, incident investigations reporting and performance management
- Good communication and interpersonal relations skills.
- Lateral thinking skills.
