Position: Bursar
Duties
- The Bursar is one of the Principal Officers of the institution, and shall be the Chief Financial Officer, and responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day administration, and control of the financial affairs of the Polytechnic,
Qualifications and Experience
- Interested candidates must possess good honours degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualifications from recognized University/Polytechnic with at least fifteen years of post-qualification cognate experience in a Polytechnic or comparable institution of learning.
- He must also be registered with a relevant professional body or bodies, and must have demonstrable potentials to offer effective and efficient leadership.
- Possession of higher qualifications will be added advantage.
The salary attached to the position is COHTEDISS15.
Conditions of Service
The successful candidates shall be appointed for a term of five years in the first instance, and may have the appointment renewed, subject to satisfactory performance, for a second term of five years, and no more. Other conditions of service are as applicable in other Federal Polytechnics in Nigeria.
