Vacancies: Chief Accountant, Senior Accountant, Accountant I, Accountant II
Preamble:
Evangel University (EU), Akaeze, Ebonyi State is one of the five (5) new private universities licensed by the Federal Government of Nigeria on 28th February 2012 to operate as a degree awarding institution. The proprietor of Evangel University is the Assemblies of God Nigeria. The mission of the University is to “offer total education for the liberation of the total /whole man, for total service to God, man and the individual and society at large”. Through scientific inquiry, academic integrity, tolerance to diverse views and opinions coupled with faith in the Bible as God’s word the University shall aim at achieving its mission.
Applications are hereby invited from qualified candidates to fill the Non- Teaching Staff positions in Evangel University, Akaeze, Ebonyi State.
Position: Chief Accountant
Qualifications:
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc. Degree/HND in Accounting from a recognized institution, plus twelve (12) years cognate experience, out of which six (6) years must be in a tertiary institution.
- Membership of a recognized professional body is required.
Position: Senior Accountant
Qualifications:
- Candidates should possess at least a B.Sc or HND in Accounting from a recognized institution, plus six (6) years post-qualification experience, out of which three (3) must be in a tertiary institution.
- Membership of a recognized professional body is required.
Position: Accountant I
Qualifications:
- Candidates should possess at least a B.Sc. or HND in Accounting from a recognized institution plus 3 years cognate experience.
- Registration with a recognized professional body will be an added advantage.
Position: Accountant II
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a good honors Degree or HND in Accounting from a recognized University, plus NYSC experience.

viii) Number and ages of children (if any);
ix) Educational institutions attended with dates;
x) Academic qualifications obtained with dates;’
xi) Professional qualification obtained with dates;
xii) Working experience including full details of former and present post(s);
xiii. Full details of teaching and research experience and service to the nation and immediate community where applicable;
xiv) List of publications where applicable; (if any)
xv) Honors/ Distinctions; Extra Curricular Activities;
xvii) Position applied for;
xviii) Names and addresses of three referees.
Candidates’ submissions should be forwarded in an envelope which should have the position applied for clearly indicated on its left-hand corner.
