Vacancies: Chief Business Development Officer, Chief Financial Officer
Located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State our client is a WHO-PQS certified manufacturer and distributor of best-in class specialist medical equipment and supplies in West and Central Africa. The Company is currently embarked on a major expansion program designed to position it as leading healthcare/life Sciences Company in the WACA regions
To meet the increasing need for strategic leadership, the company now seeks to strengthen the senior management team with the following executive appointments
Position: Chief Business Development Officer – Ref: /LSC/113/CBDO
The Role
Reporting to the CEO, your key roles and responsibilities shall include assuming the ideal roles for
- The Company’s business development function
- The company’s marketing and product development responsibilities
- The identification, securement, and management of strategic business
Opportunities and other long-term arrangements, including:
- Multi-year bulk purchase agreements and advance purchase commitments
- Contract manufacturing arrangements
- Private-label manufacturing arrangements
- Partnership marketing opportunities
- The company’s compliance function, including statutory and regulatory Matters, as well as standards compliance and certifications.
- Demonstrable record of success in meeting and exceeding revenue targets
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and client handling skills; able to develop and maintain contacts at the highest level
Position: Chief Financial Officer’- Ref’- LSC/113/CFO
The Role
Reporting to the CEO, your key roles and responsibilities shall include:
- Providing leadership for the company’s financial management, treasury and accounting function, including:
- Financial planning
- Budgeting
- Cost and management accounting
- Financial reporting
- Internal controls
- Auditing, and
- Tax matters
- Assuming direct responsibility for and managing the loan repayment process of the company’s EGA-covered Buyers Credit Facility
- Providing leadership for the company’s other corporate services functions, Including legal administration and the human resources function.
The Person
- Degree-qualified Chartered Accountant (possession of an MBA or relevant finance qualifications will be an advantage)
- Minimum of 15 years’ cognate experience in financial management, at least five of which must have been in a similar role in a large multinational manufacturing company or blue-chip environment
- Familiar with officially supported export credits and other forms of international finance
- Excellent management and interpersonal skills, and a high level of integrity
