Vacancies: Chief Legal Officer, Chief Financial Officer
Our client, a new player in the upstream sector and a member of an international Group has the following Vacancies for candidates who desire fulfilling and rewarding career.
Position: Chief Legal Officer (Ref 54)
- Must have experience in oil and Gas industry and must be able to provide legal advice and counsel on regulatory issues including upstream operations, accidents and compliance matters.
- Provide negotiation and commercial expertise to support various groups within the business unit
- Also to draft, review and advice upon a wide range of legal and commercial agreement relating to the various aspects of the group businesses
Position: Chief Financial Officer (Ref 55)
- The CFO provides both operational and strategic support to the organization.
- Reporting to the CEO, the CFO assists in all strategic and tactical matters as they related to budget management, funding, profitability and taxation.
- Work with the CEO on strategic vision including fostering and cultivating stakeholders as well as assisting in the development and negotiation of contracts
- Identifying new funding opportunities and determining cost effectiveness of service delivery
- Ensure adequate controls are installed
- Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the company, including revenue expenses, balance sheet report, and contract budgets.
- Safeguard financial asset or the organization
- Be familiar with current trends in oil and Gas Accounting, effective communications and leadership.
- A good degree and professional certification
- Minimum of 15 years experience out of which 5 will be at a senior management level
- Oversee the production of monthly reports including reconciliation with bankers as well as financial settlements and cash flow projectors for use by Management and Board
