We are Agent of Capital Oil and Gas Industries Ltd, a pioneer in downstream  operations. As a result of diversification and expansion in her business, the company requires candidates to fill the positions below:

 

Position:     Chief Operating Officer – Ref 001

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the operations of the company to ensure revenues, profits and return on investment are maximized.
  • Manage day-to-day functions of operations.
  • Responsible for business development and introductions of new product lines and opportunities.
  • Responsible for execution of projects within  cost, time,  quality, and safety parameters.
  • Maintain/improve good public relations with the customers and suppliers.
  • Monitor contractual obligations (commercial and technical).
  • Responsible for implementation and proper compliance.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Higher degree in a relevant discipline as well as an MBA will be an added advantage.
  • Onshore oil and gas operations experience.
  • Hands-on technical skills on vessel operations.
  • Extensive network of contacts within the industry.
  • Minimum of 10 years post qualification experience in Downstream Oil and Gas Industry, five of which must be in senior management position.

Position:     Chief Financial Officer – Ref 002

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Chief Financial and Principal Accounting Officer of Company and directs the daily operation of Company’s finance function, including treasury, budgeting, auditing, tax, accounting, capital purchasing, investor relations, risk management, and long-range forecasting and insurance activities.
  • Provides counsel to Company’s MD/ CEO relating to financial and tax, considerations of investments and other business transactions.
  • Develops long-range strategies to establish and maintain the financial self-sufficiency of Company.
  • Establishes Company’s accounting systems and procedures and ensures they are up-to-date and in compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Provides advice and review for compliance with appropriate statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyzes general economic business, and financial conditions to assess their impact on Company’s policies, operations and profitability.
  • Establishes and maintains contacts with auditors, actuaries, financial conditions to assess their impact on Company’s policies, operations and profitability.
  • Establishes and maintains contacts with auditors, actuaries, financial institutions, government agencies, joint venture partners and counterparts.
  • Identifies sources of financing to expand the scope of Company’s business opportunities.
  • Prepares a monthly written report to Company’s board of directors on the financial standing and conditions of the Company.
  • Performs such other duties as may be assigned to him from time to time by the CEO or by the board of directors.

 

Skills and Qualification

  • ACA/ACCA with strong background in finance.
  • Possession of an MBA will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current accounting standards and procedures
  • Knowledge of Internal controls and procedures for financial reporting as is necessary for compliance with procedures and standards
  • Sound knowledge of Oil and Gas financing operations essential.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible financial management experience in Banking Industry.

 

 

Position:     Business Managers – Ref 003

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop marketing and communications strategy for their business lines/subsidiaries.
  • Facilitate client development through marketing and client services programs.
  • Investigate and understand the economic conditions surrounding the business activities and advice the company on changes in the industry.
  • Adopt team approach: work with others in pursuing common goals.
  • Understand the skills and qualities required for the growth of business.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A university degree or equivalent in social sciences.
  • Higher degree in a relevant discipline as well as an MBA will be an added advantage.
  • Must be aware of and responsive to economic trends and government policies.
  • Must be aware of and responsive to economic trends and government policies
  • Minimum of 10years experience in Financial Services Industry – especially Banks -five of which must be at a managerial level.
