Vacancies: Chief Technical Officer, Chief Financial Officer
A World Class Telecoms Company is seeking to recruit qualified professionals to fill the vacant positions below.
Position: Chief Technical Officer (REF: MND/CTO 001)
Reporting to the CEO
Person:
- Must have knowledge of Telecoms, Transmission Planning(PSTN,OFC, Microwave, WLL, Satellite), Cellular Network Engineering Design, Financial and Business Budgeting Acumen, Strategic Thinking, People Management, Multi-tasking Capabilities, Complex Problem Solving Skills, Integrity, Good Commercial Judgement team Building and Diplomacy.
Duties:
- Responsibility for Network Planning, Access, Operations and Quality Assurance as well as Financial Control and Capital projects.
Experience:
- Minimum of l0years GSM, 3G Operations in a direct technical function.
- At least 3years IS and/or WISP experience. Telecoms Engineering Background. Research and Development of Products and Services. Extensive Vendor Exposure.
Qualification:
- Minimum First Degree or Equivalent in Engineering.
- Post graduate qualifications will be advantage.
Position: Chief Financial Officer (Ref: MFIN/CFO 001)
Reporting to the CEO
Person:
- Must have thorough financial and accounting knowledge, have had exposure in telecoms or similar industries such as media, broadcasting or technology, conversant with CAC, NBC, NCC, NSE regulations, CBN and local banking regulations, tax laws and regulations, and international accounting standards, have a high degree of commercial and budgeting acumen, strategic ability as it pertains to financial planning and management, good personnel management, team building, multi tasking, and complex problem solving ability, diplomatic, with a degree of integrity.
Duties:
- Responsible for anticipating and controlling financial risk through ensuring the availability of accurate and current financial data and the provision of financial resources that are aligned to business objectives and corporate governance policies.
- Advise the Board and CEO and other group executives on financial implications, ensure adequate company funding available as required.
Experience:
- Ten years in medium-sized company in telecom industry or similar industry, two years as CFO, Five years as direct report to CFO in same or similar business, Financial Accounts management Tax and/or auditing expertise and experience
Qualifications:
- Minimum B.Sc, B.Ec, B.Com, Accounting or related areas of stud/. Masters degree preferred. Chartered Accountant with articles
