We are a Leading and Reputable Nongovernmental Organization implementing a comprehensive family focused HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment in partnership with the different tiers of the Government of Nigeria- national, state, local and site levels. In line with the broadened scope and objectives of our work, the need for increased staff capacity around new and enlarged areas of focus have emerged. We therefore require the services of resourceful, experienced and dynamic professionals to fill the positions below
Position: Clinical Officer Adult Treatment (2 Positions)
Location: Benue & Kogi
- The incumbent would provide technical support for multidisciplinary HIV/AIDS care and treatment, working with organization clinicians and health facility- based site teams to implement care and treatment services.
- Responsibilities include: Developing and improving care, patient flow, medical records, etc systems initiating, mentoring and enhancing care and treatment services at sites
- Training site staff on clinical management of HIV/AIDS
Providing on-going mentoring and hands- on supervision to site clinicians, serving as a resource for service delivery evaluation - Developing and refining program materials such as clinical guidelines, protocols, algorithms, drug formularies and training materials
- Represent the organization in liaising with State Government officials and partner organizations as designated by the State Program Manager,
Qualifications:
- Advanced Medical Degree (MD preferred)
- Robust clinical experience in HIV/AIDS care and treatment (3years + preferable)
- Excellent knowledge of clinical issues and current literature in HIV/AIDS treatment
- Experience in developing country health care programs
- Experience in training excellent interpersonal skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English

Position: Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Associate
Location: Benue
- The M&E Associate will assist the State M&E Advisor in providing technical support in the planning, implementation and review of M&E activities at supported health facilities; development and refinement of M&E materials; providing support in the development and establishment of a systematic procedure for patient monitoring and programmatic progress monthly; conducting routine data quality checks in all supported sites; collecting, collating and reporting all data tracked by the program; support Data Clerks to verify and edit data to ensure compatibility with data entry system and procedural requirements; Enter data into facility database in an accurate, consistent and timely manner and according to prescribed format.
Qualification:
- Degree in Medical records, Statistics or any discipline in the social sciences
- 1 year working experience in the implementation and management of health MEE systems (HIV/AIDS programming preferred) High- level computer skills using MS Excel, MS Access, SPSS and/or SAS and Epi-lnfo Windows
- Basic data management and analysis skills
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems and deployment of database systems for patient monitoring an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
