We are a leading and reputable Indigenous non-governmental organization implementing a comprehensive family focused HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment in partnership with the different tiers of the Government of Nigeria at national, state, local and site levels, in line with the broadened scope and objectives of our work, the need for increased staff capacity around new and enlarged areas of focus have emerged. We therefore require the services of resourceful, experienced and dynamic professionals for the following positions.

Responsibilities

  • She/he will conduct regular audit to determine the accuracy of financial transactions and compliance with policies and guidelines
  • Develops audit programs and internal control systems for the organization’s business activity areas.
  • Evaluate  the adequacy and effectiveness of the  internal controls systems and recommend improvements as necessary
  • Prepares audit report with recommendations.
  • Develop internal won\ plan to resolve/dear findings of external audits
  • Ensure all organizational activities are in line with contractual obligations and agreements with respective grant funders
  • Advise on financial transactions and compliance to policies and guidelines,

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Applicants should have First degree or HND in Accounting plus a Membership of any of the following professional accounting bodies: ACA, or ACCA or CPA.
  • A minimum of 7 years experience developing and applying internal controls systems in a dynamic & multicultural international non- Governmental Organization setting; Excellent accounting and auditing skills; Excellent Interpersonal skills Excellent Communication skills; self driven with high sense of quality, efficiency and respect for deadlines. Demonstrate precision in work and attention to details.  A team player, Strong computer skills including Windows, Microsoft Word and excel

 

Position: Training Associate

Roles and Responsibilities

  • This position will report to the Capacity Building Manager and provide direct technical  assistance programmatic support for implementation of training activities on HIV/AIDS Care and treatment S/he will  travel approximate^ 40% of the time to the program’s target states to monitor progress of training activities and provide technical assistance.  Specific functions include working in collaboration with the Clinical officers /technical team to organizing and conduct training and learning sessions
  • Collating and maintaining training data for Strategic information reporting and M&E Identifying any training work plan implementation issues and work with project staff and partners to resolve these issues
  • Working closely with the programs/technical team to ensure successful completion of training activities
  • Work in close collaboration with the supply chain team in maintaining stock of training materials and supplies at all times * m coordination with finance staff, develop budgets and ensure disbursement of funds related to meetings, training events, and other activities including arranging for training sites, transport, meals and overall training logistics.
  • Originate and follow up memo’s seeking approvals for training events as necessary

 

Qualifications and experiences required

  • A degree in Medicine, Pharmacy or Health sciences related discipline
  • At least 2-3 years experience in HIV/AIDS training or related area
  • Demonstrable experience in coordinating logistics and other administrative tasks
  • Good knowledge and familiarity with training approaches and knowledge of the health care delivery system preferred; experience working with public sector health care workers
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.

 

General Requirements:

All positions require candidates that are  proficient  in the use  of Microsoft  Office  suite of computer applications and internet/Emails.

Significant amounts of travels are required for all positions
