The Nigerian Institute of Medical Research Yaba-Lagos, a Parastalalof the Federal Ministry of Health hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following Senior Research and Administrative Positions
Position: Deputy-Director of Research (Human Virology) CONHESS 14 STEP 1/ CONMESS 06/1
Salary Scale: (N3, 430,218.00xN98.448.00) per annum
Qualification and Experience
- The candidate must possess a Ph.D in Microbiology/its equivalent or an MBBS degree plus a registrable post graduate Fellowship of the National postgraduate Medical College or its equivalent.
- The candidate must have put in at least 4 years as a Chief Research Fellow or on equivalent job grade with a Research/Academic Establishment.
- There should be evidence of continued productivity and distinguished contribution to knowledge through research and peer recognition with at least twenty (20) publications on peer reviewed journals.
- Evidence of Administrative experience, competent computer application and ability /evidence of winning research grants will also be an added advantage
Position: Deputy-Director, Works and Maintenance – CONHESS 14 STEP 1
Salary Scale: (N3, 430,218.00xN98.448.00) per annum
Qualification and Experience
- Candidates must possess a B.Sc and M.Sc degrees or its equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution and must be registered with COREN.
- He should also have served a minimum of 4 years as a Chief Engineer or equivalent job grade to qualify for consideration
Position: Deputy-Director, Finance and Accounts – CONHESS 14 STEP 1
Salary Scale: (N3, 430,218.00xN98.448.00) per annum
Qualification and Experience
- Candidates must possess a B.Sc degree in Accountancy or its equivalent from a recognized institution with a minimum of 18 years cognate work experience in a Public Service organization OR possess an MBA/M.Sc Finance with a minimum of 15 years work experience 4 of which would have been as an Assistant Director (Finance and Accounts) in a Public services organization.
- Possession of ACA, ACC A, ICMA, CIPFA and ANAN will be an added advantage
