Vacancies: Farm Manager, Accountant
An Integrated Farm is about is to commence operation in the Niger Delta with the following areas of activity: fishery, poultry, piggery and fish feeds producing plant Farm will also have a recreational site to provide customers some form of relaxation at the point of service and farm tours.
To pioneer construction and eventual take off of the farm the services of the following are now required
Position: Farm Manager
The Farm Manager will report to the Managing Director. The primary role of this position is to plan, organize all aspects of farm operations to meet Company objectives including overseeing the design and construction of the farm, supervise recruitment of relevant staff, planning strategies for maximum output and farm administration.
Knowledge/Skills
- First degree in relevant subject with an MBA with focus on Enterprise Development or related field
- Minimum of 5 years post MBA experience
- Excellent knowledge and experience of farm management-medium to large scale.
- Excellent understanding of modern farming method and high specification equipment and machinery
- Strong business and commercial acumen including financial skills
- Self starter
- Good computer skills
- Excellent planning and organizing skills
- Strong communication negotiation skills
- Highly motivated and resilient attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
The Wards

Position: Accountant
The Accountant will report to the Managing Director. The primary role of this position is to develop and maintain an effective accounting and financial system within the organization, prepare monthly cash flow and all relevant financial statements.
Requirements:
- Must be certified with ACA or ACCA
- Must possess minimum qualification of B.Sc/HND in Accounting
- Must be self starter and highly motivated
- Must be able to work little or no supervision
- Must have a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
- Must be of proven integrity
- Must possess good human relations
- Must have excellent oral/written communication skills
- Must be proficient in computer (excellent excel skills and above average knowledge of Peachtree and or QuickBooks)
An MBA will be an added advantage
