Vacancies: Finance analyst/Internal Auditor, Health Secretary
Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria requires suitable qualified candidates to fill the positions below:
Position: Finance analyst/Internal Auditor
Overview/Brief summary of the position:
- The person in this position should serve as a check on the main Accounting System in his/her capacity as the Internal Auditor. Able to design an adequate and proper control system especially budgeting system.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Conduct Annual internal auditing of CSN Accounts. Review, analyze and appraise the soundness, adequacy and applications of accounting policies and other operating controls, Making sure of compliance and adherence with policies, plans and processes.
Qualification/Knowledge/Skill required for the position:
- A graduate of Accountancy/Finance/Economics with at least 4 years post qualification experience in a recognized institution.
- A member of a professional body.
- Good knowledge of different accounting packages.
- Excellent knowledge of Budgeting and Budgetary Control.
- Excellent Audit Experience in systems and processes
Position: Health Secretary
Overview/Brief summary of the position:
- The Health Secretary heads the CSN Health Unit and serves as the Secretary of the Health Committee of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN). Specific
Responsibilities:
- To develop and foster the implementation of the Nigerian Catholic Health Policy. Promote the Church’s healing mission by facilitating training of Catholic Health Services personnel and upholding standards of care in Catholic health institutions.
Qualification/Knowledge/Skill required for the position;
- A medical practitioner, preferably with postgraduate training in public health, health systems management, health policy, healthcare economics/financing. At least 5 years experience working in the area of healthcare management at a senior level.
- Experience working within the Catholic Healthcare system is highly desirable. Solid Faith and moral integrity with basic understanding of the Catholic Social Teachings.
