Pact is an independent international non-profit organization headquartered in Washington, DC, USA with offices in Nigeria as well as other countries. Pact Nigeria is currently expanding its program portfolio and seeks highly experienced and qualified candidates to fill the open positions on a demand creation and systems strengthening for effective coordination project in Benue and Kebbi state.
Position: Finance and Grants Assistant
(One based in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi state and the other based in Makurdi, Benue state)
The Finance and Grants Assistant will support the finance and grants unit in all areas of Finance, Grants and Administration at the Field Office. The job holder will manage petty cash for the project, tracking of reports submission from Sub-Awardees, support the finance unit in reviewing Partners monthly financial reports. The job holder will capture Invoices, partners advances and liquidations in Microsoft Dynamics Navigator, capturing of deposits into Pact accounts using cash receipt journal in Microsoft Dynamics Navigator. The job holder will support regular Sub Grants Financial Monitoring as well as preparation of monthly Bank Reconciliation.
Minimum Qualification:
- BSC/HND in Accounting, Partly Qualified ACCA or ICAN
- At one (1) year experience working in an international NGO or Chartered Accounting Firm
- Demonstrated experience with automated accounting system (Microsoft Dynamics Navigator)
- Also must have knowledge of internal control systems and financial audit processes.
Position: Project Assistants
(One based In Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State and the other based in Makurdi, Benue State)
The Project Assistant will be responsible for management of all operational activities within the office. The post holder will act as the office manager ensuring smooth flow of visitors and keeping records of meetings and related communication.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of a degree in Social Sciences, Business or other relevant field
- Post NYSC experience of one year working within government, INGO or local NGO environments
- Fluency in Hausa for Kebbi state; fluency in Tiv or Idoma languages in Benue state.
Position: Drivers (3)
The driver will be responsible for transporting the protect team to various destinations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At legist three years of experience as a professional driver.
- Experience with international organizations a strong plus
- Must have experience driving cars and larger passenger vehicles.
- Must be familiar with organizations, government offices and businesses within the location.
- Copy of valid driver’s permit must be submitted with application
- Good safety references and good vision required.
