Vacancies: Financial Controller, Credit Controllers and Auditors
Our client, a foremost media education company in Abuja is recruiting suitable personnel to fill the under listed positions:
Position: Financial Controller
The ideal candidate must be someone who can stamp his/her authority on the two key areas of revenue – copy and advert sales, across the country and set up a solid MIS, building on their current Enterprise Resource Planning system.
The other specific qualities are:
- Relevant Professional certification e.g ICAN, ACCA
- Ability to produce a monthly Management Account Report
- Thorough knowledge and experience in auditing, management, financial and cost accounting.
- Experience in working in a manufacturing/production environment
- Self-confidence and ability to work long, unusual hours
- Strong interpersonal/management skills
- Must be based in Abuja
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with ERP
Position: Credit Controllers and Auditors
The ideal candidate is someone who can revitalise their internal controls, and record-keeping and recovery strategy.
The other specific requirements:
- Professional qualification e.g ICAN, ACCA etc.
- Ability to carry out a variance analysis
- Aggressive approach in the collection of aged debts
- Ability to develop strategy to reduce future debt profile
- Ability to develop an appropriate framework for reducing future company debt profile.
- Strong organisational ability
- Strong analytic skills
- Knowledge of relevant financial application/software
- Strong contact base and resident in Abuja
All candidates must be computer literate. Certification or thorough knowledge of software relevant to the position will be an added advantage.
Must be fluent in English, self-motivated, confident, have excellent written and oral communication skills and able to work in a highly dynamic environment.
