Position: Financial Controller

 

Job Description

 

He will be expected to perform the following tasks

 

  • The Financial Controller oversees the day to day activities of the finance team and ensures the companies finance function is organized and efficient and produces accurate financial and management accounts.
  • Management of the finance function and overseeing the finance team.
  • Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows.
  • Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes.
  • Preparation of Monthly Consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet.
  • Timely production of statutory and internal financial reports.
  • Implementation and maintenance of all financial controls and systems within the business.
  • Cash management and treasury duties
  • Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained
  • Overseeing the Payroll process.
  • Overseeing all tax and regulatory compliance issues.

 

Requirements

  • More than 10 years’ experience in similar position.
  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) with previous financial control and management reporting experience.
  • Experience in Aviation Industry would be advantageous
  • You will be able to demonstrate your experience of managing an accounting team
  • The candidate should be a confident self-starter, with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment
  • You must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgment showing logical decision making, and a hands on approach.
  • Computer literate with excellent excel skills and solid understanding of relevant accounting software principles.

 

 

Position: Male Personal Assistant

 

This is a dynamic role, which requires the right candidate to travel extensively within and outside Nigeria.

 

Job Description

He is expected to carry out the following task;

  • Manage and maintain the CEO’s diary and email account
  • Filter emails, highlight urgent correspondence and print attachments.
  • Ensure busy diary commitments, papers, and travel arrangements are managed effectively including producing a daily folder with diary, necessary papers, etc. and troubleshooting problems.
  • Conduct weekly diary meetings with the CEO to discuss upcoming engagements, invitations and other requests.
  • Schedule on behalf of the CEO meetings between him and his direct reports and the committees and groups to which he is a member.
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation requirements in connection with others and ensure arrangements in place for the CEO to match his requirements.
  • Filter general information, queries, phone calls and invitations to the CEO by redirecting or taking forward such contact as appropriate.
  • Manage the process of calling for briefing on behalf of the CEO from start to finish ensuring that he is fully prepared for all engagements.
  • Keep and maintain an accurate record of papers and electronic correspondence on behalf of the CEO.
  • Prepare correspondence on behalf of the CEO, including the drafting of general replies.
  • Minute general meetings as required and complete research on behalf of the CEO.
  • Keep and retrieve files.
  • Ensure guests meeting with the CEO are well taken care of.
  • Provide a service that is in line with the CEO’s work habits and preferences
  • Carrying out specific projects and research
  • Being involved in decision-making processes

 

 

Requirement

  • 6 years’ experience in an administration/executive assistant/PA role in a highly pressurized environment requiring tact, judgment and discretion in handling internal and external contacts (essential).
  • Experience of diary management/researching and booking of travel and accommodation (essential).
  • Experience of successfully working with senior management (essential).
  • Must be proficient with the keyboard and IT applications (this may be tested during the selection process).
  • Expert level in the use of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and organize others
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be extremely sharp and smart
  • Must possess an international passport and be willing to travel
