Vacancies: Head – HR (Preferably Female), Financial Controller
Our client is an Engineering and Technical Services provider to the CM & Gas Industry. The company with its operational base in Lagos due to business expansion and a new structure being put in place, now seeks to recruit experienced and competent professionals for the following positions:
Position: Head – HR (Preferably Female)
The Head, human resources management will have the responsibilities for planning, developing and implementing strategy for HR management and development (including recruitment and selection policy/practices, discipline, grievance, counseling, pay and conditions, contracts, training and development, succession planning, morale and motivation, culture and attitudinal development as well as performance management).
Qualifications and Experience
- The ideal candidate must be degree qualified and possibly with an MBA Possession of relevant professional qualifications will be added advantage
- She must have minimum of 10 years work experience out of which at least 5 must have been spent m n managerial position in a service industry
- She must also be a self starter and must have worked in similar position in a best practice environment
Position: Financial Controller
The Financial Controller has the primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial related activities of the company This will include direct responsibility for accounting, taxation, finance, budgeting, product costing, project cost analysis and evaluation, investor relationships, government agents’ I relationships as well as banking and treasury management The desired candidate must have headed accounts department in a best practice environment and must have produced necessary daily weekly, monthly quarterly and annual plans and reports for management decision making.
Qualifications and Experience:
- The ideal candidate should have a first degree or equivalent in accounting or related fields and must be a member of a recognized accounting body.
- An MBA will be added advantage
- Minimum of 10 years work experience out of which at least 5 years must have been spent in a managerial position performing the functions of head, financial control or accounts.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite is desired as well as hands on experience in the use of accounting software or ERP.
- Good knowledge of project management and costing will be a definite plus.
- Few years’ work experience in audit will be desirable white work experience in a service concern will be added advantage
