Position: Internal Auditor
Responsibilities:
- Carry out independent evaluation adequacy, efficiency and success of internal control system
- Examine financial records, information storage systems and internal controls to ensure there are no indications of mismanagement, unnecessary waste of resources or fraud.
- Evaluate management procedures and operations to ensure the company is operating as efficiently as possible while remaining within established corporate polices and government regulations.
- Review all records and information related to expenditures, cost, taxes and internal controls to determine if a company is secure and has a strong financial foundation.
- Give opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the whole system of internal control.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s/HND degree in Accounting from a reputable institution
- A minimum of 5 years cognate experience preferably in a well organized corporate organization
- Membership of relevant professional bodies
- A masters degree and proficiency in relevant computer software will be an added advantage
