Urban Shelter Limited, a leading property development company with head office  in Abuja and branches in many major cities in Nigeria and abroad is desirous of engaging candidates to fill the post of:

 

Position:     Internal Auditor


Responsibilities:

  • Carry out independent evaluation adequacy, efficiency and success of internal control system
  • Examine financial records, information storage systems and internal controls to ensure there are no indications of mismanagement, unnecessary waste of resources or fraud.
  • Evaluate management procedures and operations to ensure the company is operating as efficiently as possible while remaining within established corporate polices and government regulations.
  • Review all records and information related to expenditures, cost, taxes and internal controls to determine if a company is secure and has a strong financial foundation.
  • Give opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the whole system of internal control.

 

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s/HND degree in Accounting from a reputable institution
  • A minimum of 5 years cognate experience preferably in a well organized corporate organization
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies
  • A masters degree and proficiency in relevant computer software will be an added advantage
