The Kano state government has reached an advanced stage in its commitment to establish commercially viable, efficient, and competitive micro finance banks in the remaining 37 Local Government Areas across the state as a means of empowering the teeming unemployed youths in the state, to be self reliant and to regain their pride as the leading commercial and agricultural producing center in the country.
This initiative by state government is aimed at streaming all the numerous empowerment programmes initiated by government to conform with modern entrepreneurship in small and medium scale business enterprises, springing up as a result of the empowerment initiatives embarked upon by the Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso administration.
Already, Seven Local Government Areas out of the 44 in the state have the presence of the well established micro finance banks.
Applications are therefore invited from interested individuals and organizations Investors /Collaborators and key management staff.
Position: Investors
Requirements:
- Interested investors from the beneficiary communities or other corporate organizations interested in micro financing in Nigeria can apply.
- Other financial institutions and organizations interested in collaborative partnership with the banks can also apply.
Position: Collaborators
Requirements:

Position: Managing Director
Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a minimum of Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Account or Economics, Banking and Finance or Business Administration,
- With minimum of 10 years cognate experience in banking.
Position: Head of Operations
Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a minimum of Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Account or Economics, Banking and Finance or Business Administration,
- With minimum of seven years cognate experience in banking.
