Vacancies: Program Specialist Business Development Services, Finance and Administration Officers
OIC International (OICI) in collaboration with the Northern Nigerian State Governments is implementing the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC); a 5 year assess-design-implement project funded by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). OICI is seeking to recruit qualified individuals to fill the positions below at the just launched CBN-EDC program in Jigawa; Katsina, Zamfara states and proposed centres: Kaduna, Kebbi and Sokoto States.
Position: Program Specialist Business Development Services (PSBDS)
She/He typically reports to a State project coordinator
Job Description
Conduct training and development programs for both employees and beneficiaries
Link beneficiaries to MFIs for Start-up Capital
Assist in Business plan; and development and implementation
Provide Business Advisory Services (BAS).
Qualification and Experience
- Candidate must possess minimum Bachelor Degree in any relevant field; MBA preferable
- Should have at least 4 years working experience in development-related work; small business management or ownership
- Excellent Computer and writing skills; strong interpersonal; problem solving; and leadership skills.
- Ability to understand and analyze local, regional, and national business challenges and opportunities.
Position: Finance & Administration Officers (FAO)
S/He typically reports to a Senior Finance Officer
Job Description
- Administration of the financial system, employee pay records and benefits and approval of payouts
- This includes monitoring all expenses and budgets within the organization to comply with approved policies
- Preparing bills and invoice, as well as budgetary and progress reports.
Qualification and Experience
- Candidate must possess minimum of 5 years working experience in donor funded programs;
- Bachelors in Banking and finance; or Accounting;
- Writing skills required preparing regular and ad hoc reports, documentation, as required, and to monitor the performance of budgets, and the development of periodic work plans;
- Excellent Computer skills in Quick book; excel and other accounting packages.
