Our client is a Reputable and Leading Nigerian Engineering Construction Company involved in roads, bridges and Infrastructural Development, installation of public electric and water systems as well as building of commercial and residential structures. We are based in Abuja Nigeria but has projects in several States of the Federation.

 

To execute a newly awarded Federal project on engineering infrastructural development in Abuja, we are looking for suitably qualified, highly motivated and result oriented professionals to take up the below leadership positions:

Position: Project Accountant

Class of Position: Accountant

 

 

Job Requirement:

  • This role ensures the successful management of the finance and accounting operations. The incumbent must be skilled at working under pressure, and able to solve complex financial problems. The person must be self-motivated, diligent, gives attention to details, and must demonstrate strong analytical skills. Leadership and good communication skills are essential.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant good university degree (B. SC, HND, M. Sc, etc) in Accountancy, Finance and Economics or related field with at least 4 years relevant experience in a lead accounting position.  ICAN qualification will be an advantage. Current membership of the relevant national supervising bodies is required

 

 

Position: Project Procurement Officer (1)

Class of Position: Procurement Officer

 

Job Requirement:

  • The incumbent will oversee the purchasing function within the project. This role will be responsible for managing procurement procedures, inventory levels and related materials across the project. This individual will also be responsible for managing sourcing and cost saving initiatives, track and negotiate for project related commodities,  finished goods purchasing, and customer fill rates and documents reconciliation. Incumbent must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, must understand inventory management, purchasing and sourcing, excellent communication skills – ability to communicate with peers and management at all levels of the organization. Must enjoy working in a collaborative environment. S/he must have the ability to mentor direct reports and identify opportunities for growth within the department. Strong computer skills, with expertise in Excel, as well as other business operating systems, strong organizational abilities, oral & written communications and interpersonal skills, knowledge of Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Order Fulfillment processes and inventory management methodologies, ability to analyze and make improvement recommendations, and  inventory level management and planning, matching forecast demand with on hand, on order, or in transit quantities

  • Relevant good university degree in related fields and at least 4 years relevant experience in procurement management.
  • Current membership of the relevant national supervising bodies is required.

 

Position: Project Safety Officer (1)

Class of Position: Safety Officer

Job Requirement:

  • The incumbent will lead in all safety related issues and conduct trainings for all employees on company’s on safety culture and practices, monitor compliance with safety policy and procedure with emphasis on construction industry, monitor safety compliance of potential contractors and other 3rd parties and determine acceptability, and prepare task hazard control sheet for every trip before it is embarked on.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant good university degree in related fields including safety engineering, Professional Accreditation in Safety Management and at least 4 years relevant experience.
  • Current membership of the relevant national supervising bodies is required.

Remuneration Package: This is negotiable and depends on previous experiences, projects executed and completed, and past remunerations.
