Vacancies: Registrar, Bursar
Elizade University is a new private institution, designed to bring international standards of university research and teaching to West Africa. The university occupies a green and spacious campus at llara-Mokin, a town ten kilometers from Akure, the capital city of Ondo State, South West, Nigeria. We are seeking exceptional people to help develop first-class teaching, research and consulting across a key range of disciplines important internationally and especially to the region.
Position: Registrar
- The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the University and shall be responsible for the day-to-day administrative work of the University. He/She is also the Secretary to Council, Senate, Congregation and Convocation.
The Person
The successful candidate will have the following background:
- A good honours degree from a recognized university.
- A minimum of 15 years experience in university administration, five of which must have been at the level of Deputy Registrar.
- Strong leadership qualities, high integrity, moral standard.
- Membership of recognized professional bodies and possession of higher degrees.
Position: Bursar
- The Bursar is the Chief Financial Officer of the University and shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the management of the financial assets and affairs of the university.
The Person
The successful candidate will have the following background:
- A good honours degree in social or management sciences.
- Recognized professional accounting qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA, ACMA
- A minimum of 15 years cognate experience, five of which must have been at senior management level.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in the use of standard accounting software.
- Sound moral character, and good physical and mental health.
