Vacancies: Reservoir Engineers, Financial Accountant, Management Accountant
Our client is an independent company with significant interest in Oil and Gas Industry, seeks to engage experienced, intelligent and self driven individuals to fill the positions below as a result of its expansion and development programmes:
Position: Reservoir Engineers
Minimum Education and Experience
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering and any other relevant Engineering degree (with a minimum of second class upper).
- A Masters degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in the oil industry with operator and with a track record of producing quality results within a time bound environment.
- Must be proficient in the use of relevant software
- Must be a good team player, capable of working seamlessly with other groups within the industry and must have strong interpersonal skill to work in multidisciplinary and multi-taking teams.
- Must be analytical and capable of delivering results with little supervision.
- Must have ability to plan and lead projects and must be able to work under pressure.
- Must not be more than 35years of age at the time of application.
- Cognate experience must cover the following:
- Reservoir and Production engineering functions of E&P projects
- Tracking and monitoring of reservoir performances
- Assets worth evaluation and studies leading to full field development
- Sound reservoir management experiences
- Evaluation of producing assets for value enhancement.
Position: Financial Accountant
Minimum Education and Experience
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics or Statistics (with a minimum of second class upper degree) and an MBA in Finance or Business Management.
- Must have a minimum of Six (6) years post ICAN Final certificate experience
- Minimum of Ten (10) years of relevant experience in reputable audit firm or in the Finance department of Oil Companies.
- The candidate must be proficient in the use of Accounting Software.
- Must be a good team player with strong interpersonal skills, career oriented and be able to work under pressure.
- Must not be less than 30years of age.
- Must have cognate experience and sufficient knowledge in the following areas:
- Designing and maintaining accounting and budgetary control system as well as statutory books of accounts, collating, processing and posting of all approved invoices, payment vouchers and pransaction journals.
- Preparation of Financial Statements and relevant schedules to Management Accounts. Maintaining process flow of all financial instruments from Corporate Head office.
Position: Management Accountant
Minimum Education and Experience
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics or Statistics (with a minimum of second class upper degree) and an MBA/in Finance or Business Management.
- Must have a minimum of Seven (7) years post qualification experience
- Minimum of Ten (10) years of relevant experience in reputable audit firm or in the Finance department of Oil Companies.
- The candidate must be proficient in the use of Accounting Software.
- Must be a good team player with strong interpersonal skills, career oriented and be able to work under pressure.
- Must not be less than 30years of age.
- Must have cognate experience and sufficient knowledge in the following areas:
- Preparation of periodic budgets of companies and monitoring the performance of budgets through variance reporting and certification of all vouchers for accounting entries.
- Preparation of Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) documentations, royalty calculation sheet and reconciliation of royalty payments with DPR as well as preparation of PPT estimates for filling with the relevant tax Authorities.
