Position: Sales Account Manager, Services-Gas/Diesel Engines (Ref SAM-GD 1)
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Key Responsibilities:
- Successful relationship management of customer accounts at all levels and developing appropriate services opportunities within these accounts
- Managing existing accounts and increasing sales with existing and target customers Understanding and communicating customer issues within the Company Acts as customer advocate
- Supporting the Gas/Diesel engines services business development efforts by identifying potential services and ensuring the timely visit of key technical services personnel
- Clear understanding of the Marine & Power services sectors with the ability to determine and communicate market directions
- Develop forecasts and identify technical/commercial quality issues at an early ensuring timely intervention
Qualification and Experience Required:
- Engineering degree with additional business knowledge
- Minimum of 3 years’ Account Management experience in Gas and Diesel Engines
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent Client Management skills
- Business Process Management skills
- Good knowledge of Financial /Management Accounting
- Good knowledge of Financial applications and systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer focusing skills
Position: Human Resources Manager (Ref: HRM/02)
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing the HR function of Wartsila Nigeria and in close collaboration with Wartsila Services global HR network to achieve quality of service and reliable performance.
- Ensuring HRM policies and procedures are in place in accordance with Labour Laws.
- Effectively directing manpower planning, recruitment and retention working closely with hiring managers.
- Design and Delivery of learning and development programs.
Qualification and Experience Required:
- Degree in the Humanities or relevant discipline from a reputable university
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with increased responsibilities in Human Resource Management preferably with a Global Company
- Proven experience in manpower planning, recruiting and effective selection
- Experience in organizational and employee development with commitment to continuous learning and competency management
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision making skills
- Fluent French (spoken/written) is a plus
- Ability to motivate others and continuously improve systems and processes
- Knowledge of Labour Laws and Employee Relationship Management
- Ability to provide strategic advice and input to Senior and Executive Management
- Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
- Excellent team leadership skills
