Vacancies: Senior Finance and Administrative Officer, Travel Officer

Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi) is a non-profit organization that promotes socio-economic development by supporting global health and economic initiatives in Nigeria. AHNi was established as an affiliate of FHI 360 Nigeria to sustain her achievements in strengthening indigenous organizational capacity in Nigeria. We are seeking qualified candidates for the following positions that are contingent on award:

 

Position: Senior Finance and Administrative Officer

 

(Dept. of Finance and Administration)

Locations: Edo, Imo, FCT, Kano, Lagos

  • The SFAO will be responsible for accounting and finance and overall administration for AHNi Nigeria and will ensure compliance with the contractual requirements of the project with the objective of providing professional accountancy services consistent with generally accepted accounting principles.

 

 

Minimum Recruitment Standard

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 5- 7 years relevant experience. Or MS/MA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 3- 5 years relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in office management and administration. CPA, ACA, ICAN, CIMA, CFE or any other relevant professional qualification is required. Experience in managing financial records of donor-funded organizations, and familiarity with donor and local contractual procedures is an advantage.

 

 

Position: Travel Officer

(Dept. of Finance and Administration)

No. Required: (1)

Location: Lagos

 

The Travel Officer will provide oversight and perform procedures related to fleet management and domestic and international travel for AHNI Nigeria

 

Minimum Recruitment Standards

  • BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences or related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience in administration, logistics management or travel scheduling. Or MS/MA degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences or related field with 1-3 years of relevant experience in administration, logistics management, or travel scheduling. Demonstrated success in multicultural environments is required. Familiarity with donor-funded travel rules and regulations is an advantage.
