Vacancies: Senior Manager (Administration), Accounting Manager

Our company is a major player in the Oil Servicing Industry and due to recent expansions; we seek to engage personnel for immediate employment in the following positions.

 

Position: Senior Manager (Administration)

 

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage the entire administrative function In the company
  • Discharging responsibilities on whole gamut of administrative areas ranging from policy compliance by employees to travels, accommodation, vendor management, contract administration, inventory management, security and safety of assets as well as personnel and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Management and supervision of interior fit-outs, office design and basic engineering concepts.
  • Manage a team of staff members to discharge these responsibilities and will need to work closely with Management executives in the company.
  • Plan, organize, direct and control the work activities of the team members in order to provide prompt and efficient services to internal customers.
  • Responsible for ensuring facilities management, including utility operation and maintenance, for all offices in the company.
  • Implement travel and accommodation policy of the company for visitors and employees in collaboration with the department in charge.
  • Ensure healthy and hygienic operation of the company’s environment
  • Initiate vendor development and identification programs for various services with the objective of maintaining sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships with partners.
  • Drive contract negotiations and finalization with selected vendors /contractors.
  • Responsible for transport management, including company owned vehicles (if any)

 

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • B.Sc/HND in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Possession of an MBA, an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years Oil Service working experience.
  • 10-18 years of relevant experience(s) in Administrative Management, one who can manage the function with requisite amount of discipline and empowerment.
  • Membership of the Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (an added advantage)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with pleasant disposition.
  • Good negotiation skills

  • Systematic approach, multi-tasking, time management, team management
  • Creative and Target Driven
  • Valid International Passport
  • Computer Literacy, a must

Position: Accounting Manager

 

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide financial and management reporting and analyses on timely basis to support the internal and external SEC reporting requirement
  • Prepare statutory financial packages and ensure timely filings
  •  Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency, Oracle experience preferred.
  • Coordinate and perform monthly accounting closing activities including consolidation and reporting on a timely basis
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Manage cash resources and provide regular cash forecasts for areas of responsibility
  • Prepare requested analysis, reports and documentation for the quarterly and annual financial external audits
  • Prepare periodic reports required by regulatory agencies, vendors and tax authorities
  • Assist in the coordination and preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts
  • Participate with corporate management to establish and comply with financial policies and procedures.
  • Smart and ability to work under pressure
  • Computer Literacy, an added advantage

 

Experience and Qualification:

  • B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required or its equivalent
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience required specifically within an Oil service company and related international accounting and finance experience
  • Experience with International Banking and maintain banking relationships and controls
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, excellent organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proven expertise engaging in a global organization and with all levels of management.
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Age: 40-45 years
