Vacancies: Site Engineer, Store Keeper
Our Company is a Well-Established Real Estate and Property Development Firm located in Lagos. We have vacancies in the following areas for qualified professionals
Job Title: Site Engineer
Qualification
- A good first degree in Building / Civil Engineering or equivalent from a reputable University or Polytechnic.
- Ability to prioritize and plan work activities and work quickly with minimal direction
- A minimum of 5 years cognate experience in similar position is desired.
- Must be able to interpret structural drawings with precision
- Must have eyes for details and not be prone to errors
- Excellent leadership, negotiating and influencing skills
Responsibilities
- To control and manage the site engineering department
- Take ownership of the responsibility to ensure the correct design, inclusive of change is allowed
- To ensure the construction project follows the required design, using the correct materials to the required quality in a safe manner.
- To ensure all design and material changes are correctly incorporated into the construction project.
- Oversee the day to day running of the site
- Representing the Company towards the client and consultants on site, inclusive of attendance of site meetings, with regard to the technical operations
- To assist the Head of Project in the control of change orders
Job Title: Store Keeper
Qualification:
- ND in Accounting/Business Administration, Statistics, Financial Studies, Insurance or any other social sciences or numerate discipline. Skilled and self-confident O Level holders can also apply
- Must be intelligent, smart and be ready to work under pressure with little or no supervision.
- 2 to 3 years hand on experience in similar positions is desired
- Must be personable with good oral and written communication ability
- Must be meticulous and not be prone to errors
Responsibility:
- To handle receipt, issuance, transfers and safe keeping of goods.
- To certify that goods are delivered to store at the right quality and quantity.
- To assist the site Engineer in the general day-to-day administration and coordination of the site.
- To track on daily basis, record of labour input at site and interface with the site Engineer to ensure that labour inputs are commensurate with laid-down remunerations.
- To track and update inventory ledger GRN WAYBILL
- To prepare weekly stock report.
- To act as check on matters bordering on labour and material requisitions at site.
