Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) was established in 1971 as the statutory body vested with the responsibility of standardizing and regulating the quality of all products in Nigeria. Its function anchors on investigating the quality of facilities, materials and products in Nigeria, and instituting a quality assurance system for the certification of factories, products and laboratories.

Position:     Standards Officer II/Higher Technical Officer

Reference Cadres:         SO2/HTO

Required Qualification:

  • Applications are expected from candidates who have minimum of Bachelors degree or HND in the following Laboratory Sciences; Chemistry; Microbiology; Biochemistry; Physics; Agriculture; Botany; Zoology; Industrial Chemistry. Estate Management; Building Technology; Quantity Survey.

Position:     Standards Engineer II/ Higher Technical Officer

Reference Cadres:         SE2/HTO

Required Qualification:

  • Applications are expected from candidates who have minimum of Bachelors degree or HND in the following Engineering – Civil; Mechanical; Chemical; Electrical; Metallurgy and Material; Mineral and Mining.

 

 

 

Position: Statistician, Computer Scientist/ Higher Technical Officer

Reference Cadres:         SCS/HTO

Required Qualification:

  • Applications are expected from candidates who have minimum of Bachelors degree or HND in the following Mathematics; Statistics; Computer Science.
