A Recently Established Fashion Outfit specializing in the marketing, distribution and sale of exclusive lingerie and swimwear requires suitable candidate to fill the position below:
Position: Business Development Manager
Job description
(Reports to the Managing Director)
- Co-ordinate, manage and promote the swimwear and lingerie line within the country and the West African market
- Establish and maintain good working relations with the distribution chain
- Liaise with retailers and merchandise markets to co-ordinate marketing activities
- Organize periodic photo-shoots, magazine events and fashion shows
- Monitor market trends with retailers, buyers and directors
Qualifications and Experience:
- A graduate in Arts or related discipline with minimum of second class lower or its equivalent
- Good experience in fashion/entertainment industry is an advantage
Required skills and competencies
- Passion for and understanding of the fashion industry
- Working knowledge of trends in the Nigerian fashion industry
- Good networking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good analytical skills
- Must be computer literate
- Must be creative, determined, persuasive and persistent
- Must be business-oriented
