Pact is an independent international non-profit organization headquartered in Washington, DC, USA with offices in Nigeria as well as other countries. Pact Nigeria is currently expanding its program portfolio and seeks highly experienced and qualified candidates to fill the open positions on a demand creation and systems strengthening for effective coordination project in Benue and Kebbi state.
Position: Capacity Development Officer
(one based in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi state and the other based in Makurdi, Benue state)
The Capacity Development Officer is responsible for ensuring the day to day implementation of capacity development interventions under the design of the program and within the proposed timeframe. The officers will work collaboratively to ensure that capacity development is holistic, meeting the individual needs as assessed of CSOs and LGAs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA in Education, Sociology, Law, Development, Business/Public Administration or another related field. Additional qualification in Public/Community Health is an added advantage
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in capacity development of CSOs and/or government
- Extensive knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in developing and managing a budget; experience in developing strategic plans, work plans, fundraising plans, knowledge of sound financial, human resources and administrative policy and procedure.
- Experience in facilitating and training as well as production of training and capacity assessment reports.
Position: Monitoring Evaluation Results and Learning Officer
(One based in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State and the other based in Makurdi, Benue state)
The Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Officer will manage the implementation of the MER and Knowledge Sharing strategy under the prefect, assist in developing and/or adapting indicators and formats for supporting the collection, storage and retrieval of all information across the project. The jobholder will assist in developing data collection tools and procedure. The jobholder will assist in implementing procedure and monitoring project performance through indicators. The jobholder will maintain an accurate up-to-date record and flow of information related to MER and KM and implementation of project.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA in Statistics, Mathematics, Social Sciences,Community or Public Health with at least 4 years of experience.
- Experience working with Civil Society Organizations and government as well as proficiency in report writing.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office package and statistical packages (SPSS, STATA) and other database systems.
- Experience working with CSOs and/or LGAs.
- Proficiency in report writing and data visualization
- Proficiency in developing Theory of Change, Results Frameworks and Logic Frameworks
