Vacancies: Catalytic Intervention Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor, Gender Advisor
Chemonics International seeks qualified anticipated donor funded Northern Nigeria that aims to improve productivity in the ag markets systems. The project will target improved economic opportunities, for women in Northern Nigeria, enhance access to private sector markets, and strengthen market linkages with neighboring countries and will be based on the Making Markets Work for the Poor (M4P) methodology. Fluency in English required with advanced knowledge of Hausa preferred.
Position: Catalytic Intervention Manager
Requirement
- Advanced degree in agriculture, business, economics. marketing or a related field, Master’s degree (M.sc, MBA) preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of the agriculture sector and commodity chains and service markets in Nigeria.
- Understanding of business support/business service market and business service organizations
- Previous donor-funded project experience and M4P experience required.
Position: Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor
Requirement
- Applicant should possess Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Economics, or related field
- Experience in designing both quantitative and qualitative evaluation methodologies and tools, preference in DCED Standard
- Solid donor experience designing and managing complex M&E systems
Position: Gender Advisor
Requirement
- Applicant must possess Advanced university degree, preferably in international development, social work, anthropology, sociology or related social science field required
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a gender advisor in the field of agriculture
- Experience with donor-funded agriculture projects highly desirable.
