Vacancies: Chief Operating Officer, Client Service Director, Creative Director
Due to expansion and the need to consolidate; our client, an Emerging Integrated Marketing Communications and Brand Consulting Agency with turnover in excess of One Billion Naira desires to fill the following positions.
Position: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Skills and Experience:
The ideal COO will co-ordinate Agency operations and report directly to the Group Managing Director. He/She should have a Bachelors Degree (MBA would be an added advantage) with a minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience in a well established Advertising Agency or Brand Consultancy Firm. In addition to being APCON certified, our preferred candidate must possess leadership and team building capabilities with demonstrable skills in business development. He/She will be responsible for the following:
- Development of operational capacity to support the rapid growth of the agency
- Agency management, development and mentoring
- Creation of new operating systems that streamline project flow and accountability across the agency
- Oversight of agency capital allocation, growth projects, financial processes and performance
- Creation of innovative employee and staffing programmes
Position: Client Service Director (CSD)
Skills and Experience:
We are looking for a candidate who should have successfully led either an account management/client service team in customer-facing capacity with measurable ROI and clients’ satisfaction. In addition to extensive on-line business experience, our preferred candidate should meet the following requirements:
- 8 or more years relevant professional experience in a local or international agency
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field of study
- Proven relationship building skills at the top end in blue chip businesses/organizations
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team of 25+people; hands-on skill & coaching
- Track record of developing services and/or account management skills
- A strong 360 degree marketing practitioner with focus on results, continuous improvement and innovation
- Understands digital communications and the broader commercial landscapes
- Knowledge of e-commerce, web technology, on-line marketing concepts and industry trends will be a plus
- Strong presentation, outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Positive, self-starter attitude and desire to exceed expectations at every opportunity

Position: Creative Director (CD)
Skills and Experience:
- The Creative Director (CD) will oversee the creative team which includes Copywriters, Designers and work with Account Management team to meet clients’ needs, deadlines/timelines and win pitches. The CD will work with others as a ‘creative team’ focusing on the visual look and feel of a campaign. In addition to a Bachelors Degree in relevant fields of study with at least eight years experience in any leading advertising agency and APCON certification, the potential candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of creative professionals
- Solid background in design
- Must be willing to work long hours
- Travel sometimes required
- Hands-on experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, QuarkXPress, HTML, PHP and other design tools is required
- Must be able to manage the creative team from concept to completion
- Ability to give creative direction, work on schedule and meet clients’ expectations
