Chief Operating Officer (COO) in an Agro-Allied Company

Our client, an Agro-Allied Company located in South-Western Nigeria and engaged   in the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of Animal Health and Nutrition Products as well as Equipment is repositioning and thus seeking the services of candidates who are well versed in the area of the company’s core operations for the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Position: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the selected candidate’s responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Planning, implementing and driving the sales strategy of the company towards achieving the desired growth objectives.
• Developing new relationships and foster existing ones with the company’s partners, customers and suppliers both within and outside the country
• Coordinating the preparation of the company’s budget and ensuring the attainment of set targets.
• Supervising the activities of all Line Managers providing Consultative and administrative support for optimum efficiency
• Advising the Board of Directors on growth and expansion directions for the company
• Implementing the Board’s management and financial policies in line with approved financial procedures and generally accepted accounting principles and statutory requirements

Qualification and Experience:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or B.Sc/HND in Animal Health and Production/Animal Science
• Minimum of 12 years relevant work experience, 5 of which must be in a Senior Management Position in a related organization
• Possession of MBA, or M.Sc. will be an added advantage
