The Federal University, Wukari, Taraba State is one of the nine newly established  Federal Universities in Nigeria. Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates  to fill the  positions  below in the  University  for non teaching  staff.

 

Vice-Chancellor’s Office

Position: Director (Administration) – CONTISS 15

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a good honours degree from a recognized  University in Marketing , Public  Relations, Public  Administration or any other  relevant  degree in Humanities  or  social Science
  • Should have at  least  eighteen (18) years  cognate  experience; or  Masters degree (M.sc) in a relevant  field  with at  least  fifteen (15) years cognate  experience.

 

Position: Deputy Registrar ( CONTISS 14)

Qualifications

  • Candidates  should possess  a good  honours degree preferably in the Humanities, Law, Social Sciences or Management  Sciences  from a recognized  University plus  fifteen (15) years  cognate  experience, six (6) years  of  which must have been spent in a tertiary institution. Registration with any of these professional bodies (ICA. ANUPA NIM, CIPM etc) is mandatory
  • In addition, Candidates should possess a good honours degree from a recognised University  Marketing, Public Relations, Public Administration or any other relevant degree in the Humanities or Social Sciences with at least twelve (12) years cognate experience; or Masters Degree in a relevant field with at least nine (9 ) years cognate experience

 

Position: Principal Assistant Registrar (CONTISS 13)

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a good honours degree preferably in the Humanities, law, Social Sciences or Management Sciences from a recognised University plus twelve (12) years cognate  experience which must have been spent in a institution. Registration with any of these professional bodies (ICA, ANUPA, NIM, ClPM etc) is mandatory.
  • Candidates should possess a good honour degree from a recognized university in Marketing , Business Administration or any other  relevant  degree in the Humanities  or  Social Sciences with at least twelve (12) years cognate experience; or Masters degree in a relevant  field with at least nine (9) years cognate experience.

 

Position: Principal Conf. Secretary I (CONTISS 11)

Qualifications

Candidates  should  possess a good University degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Secretarial Studies from a recognized  institution, plus  nine  (9) years  post qualification experience and demonstrable  ability for  120/50 words per minute speed in short hand /typing.

 

Note

  • All Candidates must possess an NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate or Certificate of Exclusion where applicable;
  • Salaries and Allowances attached to the various vacancies are the same with the  approved  Salary Scheme for Federal Universities in Nigeria:
  • Candidates who are awaiting results may not be considered and need not apply; Computer literacy is required for all officer cadre and above.
