Position: Director General
Total Remuneration Package is competitive plus a LOCATION – LAGOS STATE.
The Job
The successful candidate who will report to the President and Chairman of National Council will
- Develop and implement an approved work plan for the organization
- Provide strategic direction and focus for the Organization
- Be responsible for day-to-day running of the Organization
- Pursue a drive in membership, quantitatively and qualitatively
- Represent the Organization at top Government for a
- Be the arrow-head of influencing Government economic policy formulation as it affects the real sector of the economy.
The Person
The ideal candidate who would be over 45years of age must have considerable management experience in a first class company, parastatal, or Non-governmental Organization. Total Management experience must not be less than 25 years, 10 of which must have been spent in a General Management level
The right candidate must in addition, possess a good Honours degree from a reputable University and a Masters degree in Management or any other related discipline.
- Possession of a Doctorate degree in social science/liberal arts will be an advantage. Experience in a membership and performance – driven Organization/body will be a plus. The right person must be a thorough-bred with an outstanding personality and his/her integrity must not be in doubt. S/he must have good command of spoken and written English language. Must be a team player, an achiever who is innovative, Proficiency in the use of computer is a must.
