Position: Director of Administration – CONHESS 15 STEP 1
Salary Scale: (N4, 233, 344.00xN113, 207.00) per annum
Qualification and Experience
- The candidates must possess a B.A/B.Sc degree in the Social Sciences or Humanities and Masters of Public Administration or its equivalent from a recognized Institution, Membership of the Institute of Personal Management of Nigeria or the Nigerian Institute of Management is required. The candidate
- must have put in at least 22 years Post-qualification cognate work experience, Four (4) of which must have been as deputy – Director of Administration in a Research Institute/Academic Establishment or its equivalent
Position: Director of Research (Biochemistry/Clinical Chemistry) – CONHESS 15 STEP 1/ CONMESS 07 /1
Salary Scale: (N4, 233, 344.00xN113, 207.00) per annum
Qualification and Experience
- The candidate must possess a Ph.D either in Biochemistry or an MBBS degree plus a registrable Post-Graduate Fellowship of the National West African Medical Colleges or its equivalent.
- The candidate must also possess four (4) years work experience as a Deputy Director (Research) or its equivalent with Research/Academic Establishment.
- There should be evidence of continued productivity and distinguished contribution to knowledge through research with at least thirty (30) publications in peer reviewed journals.
- An MPH degree is an added advantage.
- Evidence of Administrative experience, competencies in computer application and ability /evidence of winning research grants ability will also be an added advantage.

CONMESS 07/1/CONHESS 15 STEP 1
Salary Scale: (N4, 233, 344.00xN113, 207.00) per annum
Qualification and Experience
- The candidate must possess a Ph.D in Medical Microbiology/Cell Genetics/Biotechnology or Biochemistry or an MBBS degree plus a registrable Post-Graduate Fellowship of the National or West African Post-Graduate Medical Colleges or its equivalent in and must have put at least four years as a Deputy-Director Research or on equivalent job grade in a Research/Academic Establishment. An MPH degree is an added advantage.
- There should be evidence of continued productivity and distinguished contribution to knowledge through research with at least thirty (30) publications in peer reviewed journals. Position: Institute’s Librarian – CONHESS 15 STEP 1
Salary Scale: (N4, 233, 344.00xN113, 207.00) per annum
Qualification and Experience
- Candidates for this post must be professionally qualified and practicing librarian, registerable with the Librarians’ registration council of Nigeria (LRCN): possess a good honours degree in any Medical Related Field and a Ph.D in Library Science/or its equivalent.
- The candidate must have contributed to scholarship by sustained productive and evidence based research and publications in reputable academic journals, not less than 10 publications are expected of the applicants for the post and must have at least significant supervisory and management experience in various sections of an academic/research library of at least 8 years: have demonstrable computer skills of using electronic database and an understanding of digital library concept.
