Our client is in the Real Estate and Services business. As a result of the recent strategic reorganization and renewal initiatives, the company is desirous of filling newly created vacancies at executive levels and management levels with the objective of imbuing the company with the right level of executive capacity required to achieve its corporate and strategic objectives. In view of this need, our client requires highly qualified, motivated, ambitious and experienced individuals to further support her business. Potential candidates must be confident, self-motivated and result-orientated individuals who can provide executive management leadership to ensure that all set targets for the company are met and surpassed. The following positions are therefore advertised for both internal and external candidates:

 

Position:     Executive Management Business Development Manager (NXT/PRJRE-BDM)

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic supervision of a range of corporate services comprising Customer Service and Business Development. The candidate will be a key member of the executive management team playing a leading role in the coordination and communication of business activities, coordinate all research activities required to provide necessary information to support business decisions for existing services provided and potential business /ventures. He/she well carry out market research activities, including market analysis, create reports for the group executive management and set-up primary research projects, she/he will also provide leadership support in the area of visioning, corporate/strategic planning, execution and business performance monitoring.

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • A good degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mass Communications, Humanities and/or other Social Sciences from a reputable
  • A post graduate degree in related field or professional qualification is an added advantage.
  • A Minimum of five (5) years overall work experience with at least two (2) years in strategy and planning in similar positions/industry.
  • Attention to detail, good Organizational skills.
  • Excellent research and information sourcing skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret several forms of data.
  • In-depth knowledge of the real estate market in Nigeria
  • Excellent Communication, negotiation, interpersonal and team building skills with the ability to persuade and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

 

Position:     Executive Management- GM Facilities and Projects (NXT/PRJRE-GMFAC)

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, execution and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines within budget. He/she will be a member of the executive management team supervising facility managers and playing a leading role in acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The candidate will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control.

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • A good first/university degree in Built-Environment disciplines or other relevant disciplines.
  • Relevant professional qualifications and/or post-graduate degrees is an added advantage
  • Demonstrated experience of not less than seven (7) years in handling similar responsibilities in similar positions.
  • Familiarity with developing and delivering project management systems
  • Demonstration of sound knowledge and experience in project management
  • Extensive working knowledge of project management in the real estate industry in Nigeria
  • Proven experience in people management and strategic planning
  • Superior leadership and negotiation skills
  • Influencing, leading and excellent communication skills
  • Client orientation
  • Experience of working effectively within a leading on own initiative
  • Aggressively result oriented
  • Excellent organization skills including ability to manage multiple fasts, projects and teams and an ability to prioritize and work to deadlines
  • Ability to effectively disseminate information
  • Analytical thinking and decisive judgment
  • Working knowledge on the entire real estate value chain.
  • Project execution and management.
