ActionAid Nigeria (AAN) is an affiliate of ActionAid International an International Non-Governmental organisation registered in The Netherlands and headquartered in Johannesburg South Africa. ActionAid International works in 50 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, Australia and the Americas 22 of these country programmes, affiliates or associates are in Africa and are led by Africans. We have been doing development work on the continent since 1972 and in Nigeria since 1999. ActionAid works with the poor and excluded in Africa, promoting values and commitment in civil society, institutions and governments with the aim of achieving structural changes in order to eradicate injustices and poverty in the world.
To effectively consolidate on the country strategy paper, AAN is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill the position of Fundraising Advisor.

Person Specifications:
Education/Qualifications:
- Degree in Social Sciences, Arts or Humanities is essential
- Masters degree in a related field is desirable.
Experience
- At least 5 years minimum working experience is essential
- 2 years experience in a similar position some of which was spent in the development sector is essential
- Experience in writing fundraising proposals and reports is essential
Skill/Abilities:
- Demonstrable oral and written communication skills is essential
- Demonstrable IT skills is essential
Personal Qualities:
- Demonstrable commitment to supportive team working
- Creative and takes initiative.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
