We are growing our plastic products plant in Nigeria with the goal of it becoming a recognized leader in the polymer processing industry in the country.
In order to carry out further expansion of capacity and upgrade our operations and management processes to international best industry practice, we seek to engage a General Manager.
Position: General Manager (Nigerian or Expatriate)
Responsibilities:
- He is expected to have many years experience in the operations and management of plastics production facilities in Nigeria and or other emerging market economies.
- He would be responsible for the management of the business including production, marketing, people, and profitability.
- Experience in production operations, supervision and management before advancement into corporate management responsibilities would be considered very valuable.
- Corporate management experience beyond oversight of the production function into areas such as marketing, human resources and corporate strategy will be a key factor in the final selection.
Qualification:
- The required educational background includes a first degree or equivalent in polymer technology, industrial engineering, industrial chemistry, production management, or related disciplines.
- A master’s degree in one of those disciplines or Business Administration will be an advantage.
