Vacancies: Librarian I, Librarian II

 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the vacant positions in the Lagos State University Library.

 

 

Position: Librarian I (CONUASS 3)

 

Qualifications:

• A good first degree in the Humanities, Natural Sciences, the Social Sciences or Law and Postgraduate qualifications such as MLS or MIS with at least three (3) years in a University or Tertiary Institution of comparative standing.
• Candidates must produce evidence of research and publications. Knowledge of Information Technology is required. Possession of a Ph.D in Library and Information Science will be an advantage.

 

 

Position: Librarian II (CONUASS 2)

 

Qualifications:

• A good first degree in the Humanities, Natural Sciences, the Social Sciences or Law and Postgraduate qualifications such as MLS or MIS. Knowledge of Information Technology is required.
• Possession of a Ph.D in Library and Information Science will be an advantage

 

Conditions of Service

• As contained in the approved Conditions of Service guiding Senior Staff of the University.

 

Method of Application
