Vacancies: Maintenance Shift Supervisor, Maintenance Planner
We require suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions below in a Quarry around the Cross River State area.
Position: Maintenance Shift Supervisor
Reporting to: Maintenance Manager
Qualification and Experience
- Applicant must possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Trade Test or its equivalent,
- Should have 5-7 years working experience in the Maintenance of Heavy Duty Earth Moving Equipment (Excavators, Bulldozers, Graders, Wheel Loaders, Dump Trucks etc.) and be computer literate in Micro soft packages. He/ She must be familiar with the use of Electronic Technology for diagnostics and fault finding.
- Liaise with production department Equipment breakdown / availability issues.
- Liaise with maintenance planner to order parts for major shutdowns,
- Ensure maintenance work objectives are safely met
- Liaise with contract equipment companies, suppliers, product, support, staff and personnel.

Reporting to: Maintenance Manager
Qualification and Experience
- Applicant must possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering or possess Trade Test or its equivalent,
- Should have 3-5 years working experience in the Maintenance Planning of Heavy Duty Earth Moving Equipment (Excavators, Bulldozers, Graders, Wheel Loaders, Dump Trucks etc.) and have excellent computer skills in Micro Soft Word and Excel;
- He/she must possess planning skills, be familiar with equipment parts and be able to read and analyze parts book.
- Liaise with client, suppliers, service providers, staff and other personnel,
- Assist management with budget, costing and job planning
- Ensure planned jobs are issued daily, weekly and monthly.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
Note:
All position must possess good communication skill, organizational skills, be a team player, exhibit leadership skills and possess a valid class E driving licence.
