Our Client is a Nigerian Based Marine Logistics and Vessel Operating Company with a core interest to provide and operate all categories of marine support vessels for the Oil and gas industry in Nigeria, we seek to engage the best talents and companies for the positions below.
Job Title: MOORING/UNMOORING OPERATORS
Job Outline:
- To pilot Oil/LPG product tankers in and out at various berths, serve as loading/discharge coordinator, act as terminal representative, coordinating all activities on mooring/unmooring operations.
Requirements
- Demonstrable skills in mooring/unmooring of large crude oil and LPG vessels Strong service and technical background
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience in handling ships at single point mooring, tandem mooring and other mooring system
- Strong communication skills Education
Education:
- Formal Qualification in Ship Handling, Ocean Going Master Mariner License is a plus.
Job Title: PILOTAGE SERVICES OPERATORS
Job Outline:
- To allocate pilotage resources to vessels and ensure customer requirements are effectively met.
- To document the processes involved and inform the billing of pilotage services to customers
Requirements
- Demonstrable skills in rendering pilotage services
- Strong service background in a busy operational environment
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience in rendering pilotage services, with thorough understanding of ship and berth operators
- Strong communication skills and efficient use of resources to meet normal and peak time requirements
Education:
- HND/B.Sc degree in Arts, Social Sciences, Sciences and Shipping and Maritime Services.
