Ours is an ultra modern Guesthouse and also a subsidiary of a leading indigenous service provider situated in Lagos. To further strengthen our operations in Africa, the company is seeking highly motivated and result oriented professionals to fill the following positions.
Position: Operations Manager
Job Objective
The candidate will be responsible for coordinating, managing and providing leadership. S/He will oversee the day to day operations and activities of the company and maintain good working relationship with other stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
- Good working knowledge of the hospitality industry.
- Managing, planning, directing and organizational skills
- Leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a multi-national environment
- Excellent public relations
- Team building skills
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office tools
Minimum Qualification and Experience
- A good first degree in Social sciences, Hotel Management or any Business related discipline from a reputable university
- A second degree, MBA or professional qualification will be an added advantage,
- 10 years cognate experience, 3 years of which must have been on a managerial position.
Position: Senior Chef
Job Objective
- The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and preparation of continental and local dishes under scrupulous hygiene conditions. Responsible for menu budgeting, planning, sourcing and training of kitchen staff
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
- Ability to prepare a variety of continental and local dishes.
- Must be innovative
- Must have experience in hotel or corporate/ industrial catering for a multi-national setup
- Ability to coordinate people and resources
- Good budgeting and planning skills
- Excellent hygiene habits
- Relevant professional qualifications
Minimum Qualification and Experience
- HND in Catering/Industrial & Personnel Management
- Plus 5 years cognate experience
