Operations/Administration Manager in a Food Processing Company

A Food Processing Company seeking candidates for the position of:

 

Position: Operations/Administration Manager

 

Location: Ilorin, Kwara State

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the board’s vision for the business
  • Plan, direct and coordinate the operations of the Factory
  • Provide leadership and vision to the organization by assisting the Board and staff with the development of long range and annual plans, and with the evaluation and reporting of progress on plans.
  • Ensuring that factory and in turn products maintain the industry quality standard.
  • Develop and implement specific short-term and long-term plans for the Factory, together with supporting budgets (costs and revenue estimates), for the accomplishment of objectives established.

 

Minimum Qualification:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution
  • Strong business acumen i.e. financial and commercial knowledge, as well as, minimum 5 years’ experience within the food/agriculture manufacturing sector
  • In-depth understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations relating to the food/agriculture sector
  • Strong and proven strategic orientation, leadership and mentoring skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinking and problem solving skills
