Position: Principal
- The Board of Directors of an international school in Abuja invites applications for the post of Principal. The Board seeks to appoint an outstanding school leader who is capable of establishing and developing educational structures, procedures and systems in the school.
- He/she is required to maintain the school’s good reputation, high academic standards and successfully lead the school through the Nigerian/British Curriculum,
The successful candidates should possess;
- Bachelors and Masters Degree in Education from a reputable university, in addition; a degree in Educational
- Administration/Management
- Appropriate teaching qualifications and experience (min. 10 years-Principal)
- Must be fully IT conversant
- Must have strong leadership qualities with the ability to lead, inspire and challenge a team of teachers
- High expectations for pastoral care as well as extracurricular development
- The necessary vision and personal drive to develop the school, to implement new initiatives and to improve educational standards
- Experience with the National Curriculum of England and the IGSCE
- A proven track record as a manager, ideally in a similar role including budget preparation and oversight
Position: Vice Principal (ACADEMIC)
- The Vice Principal (Academic) will assist the Principal in providing quality education for students. He/she will work collaboratively with the Leadership Team in leading and managing the school. The Vice Principal (Academic) will be expected to support the work of the Principal in the monitoring of curriculum delivery and continuous improvement of teaching/learning.
The successful candidates should possess;
- Bachelors and Masters Degree in Education from a reputable university, in addition; a degree in Educational
- Administration/Management
- Appropriate teaching qualifications and experience (min. 7 years- Vice Principal)
- Must be fully IT conversant
- Must have strong leadership qualities with the ability to lead, inspire and challenge a team of teachers
