Position: Procurement Manager
What are my responsibilities?
- Establishing and driving regional governance Procurement methods,
- Processes and Controlling,
- Prepares reports for management
- Establishing, leading and monitoring of procurement concepts for various Supply Chain Management requirements and project procurement.
- Prepares commercials and legal inputs into contracts
- Prepares contract negotiations of frame agreements
- Ensuring compliance towards Purchase to Pay process- Governance and Control.
- Approval of purchase orders and monitoring of delivery dates
- Implement supply Chain Management and implementation
- People management: within functional area select, deploy and develop employees under relevant company policies, aligns all members toward team excellence in order to ensure long-term company success with motivated high caliber employees.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- A first degree in Commerce, Business Administration or its equivalent
- A minimum of 8 years demonstrable experience in procurement and logistics/Supply Chain Management, preferably at multinational companies
- Experience in initiating, driving and managing complex/ international/ cross-functional projects
- Experience in international business environment and high degree of intercultural sensitivity
- Must possess entrepreneurial spirit and strategic judgment.
- Must possess initiative and analytical skills
- Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office packages and SAP
- Professional certification in procurement and logistics/Supply Chain Management /MBA is an added advantage
Position: Technical Trainer (Lagos)
What are my responsibilities?
- Developing and conducting training programs for internal and external customers;
- Conducting training needs assessment based on interaction with industry stakeholders and trainees;
- Designing training manuals;
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training sessions by collating and analyzing feedback from trainees;
- Developing programs to enhance training curriculum;
- Be involved in marketing politics of the training centre.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- A minimum of 8 years demonstrable strong technical knowledge preferably in the areas of power transmission or distribution systems(and power plant commissioning , planning or maintenance)
- Experience with customer trainings is required preferably in protection/ substation automation section of a power utility company or an OEM
- Understanding of the Nigerian power sector(Transmission, Distribution,
- Generation)-knowing the key concepts and variables;
- Deep practical and technical knowledge of power transmission and distribution networks;
- Demonstrable knowledge of power system protection and substation automation, etc) or mechanical systems (like switchgears);
- Extensive experience using communication solutions for utilities and industries;
- Familiarity with Siemens Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution products is a must and will be a selection criterion. Especially protection relays Siprotec 4(and NSXPLUS C switchgears);
- Must demonstrate strong presentation skiffs and ability to work under pressure in a multicultural environment; High proficiency and understanding of computer applications; A first degree (B.sc) in either Electrical Engineering or Mechanical engineering;
- A relevant master’s degree or. its equivalent and registration with COREN be an advantage.
