Vacancies: Programme Manager, Admin/Finance Officer
Active Support for Rural People Initiative (ASURPI) is a unique Non-Governmental Organization that places non-negotiable emphasis on respecting, promoting, protecting and fulfilling the rights of poor and excluded people by focusing on their empowerment as well as working with the State and other development organizations to promote just and democratic governance.
ASURPI Kebbi is supported by ActionAid Nigeria through its unique integrated development and community driven programme tagged Local Rights Programme (LRP) which recognizes that the fight against poverty can only be won through unique synergy building and action between communities, civil society organizations (CSOs), Government as well as the private sector LRP is funded through the Child Sponsorship Mechanism and has been working among rural communities in 12 States of Nigeria since 2002.
ASURPI Kebbi is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill the following positions based in Kebbi State.
Position: Programme Manager (1)
Persons Specifications:
Education/Qualifications
- Degree in Social Sciences, Arts or Humanities is essential.
- Administration and Financial Management, Accountancy
- Post graduate degree in relevant field is an added advantage
Experience:
- At least three years post NYSC experience with at least two years in a similar positions
- Knowledge of the local Area will be an added advantage
- Knowledge on the use of MS- Word, Power Point and Excel is very essential
Skill/Abilities:
- Ability to speak any of the Local Language is desirable
- Excellent planning and prioritization skills and strong analytical/problem solving skills are desirable
- Relevant sector based knowledge (Programmes and Finance) and practices, fluency in spoken and written English language (Reporting) ability to work independently and in a team are essential
Position: Admin/Finance Officer (1)
