Job Title: Senior Program Manager – Agriculture
Location: Abuja, Nigeria
Job Summary
This position ensures that CRS Nigeria complies with the Agency’s guideline principles of stewardship. It ensures that CRS Nigeria complies to CRS HQ financial policies, individual donor regulations and ensures efficient usage of CRS Nigeria’s funds on the projects.
Summary of Primary Functions:
Specific duties will include:
- Technical Leadership z
- Analyze Market Opportunities
- Budget Management
- Mobilize for Proposal Development
- Develop Agriculture Capacity within CRS/Nigeria and its partners
- Draft Comprehensive Progress Reports
- Represent CRS at high profile technical meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum of Masters degree in Agricultural related field or business administration
- Minimum of 6 years in relevant field including marketing research, farming systems, agricultural policies, public and private donor relations
- Previous management experience with agriculture projects
- Solid understanding of key issues facing small-scale farmers
- Experience with and commitment to working in a team structure
- Willingness and ability to travel within and outside of Nigeria up to 40%
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Software
