Vacancies: Transport Manager, Stores and Inventory Managers

A medium sized conglomerate manufacturing and marketing fast moving goods with headquarters in Lagos, and operations pan Nigeria requires the services of very qualified, competent and experienced hands to fill the positions below:

Position:     Transport Manager:

Requirements:

• First degree, HND or equivalent obtained in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering at not lower than 2^nd Class Lower or Upper Credit
• Professional certification in Business and Transport management will be a significant advantage
• At least 10 years experience in fleet management position with responsibility for developing and implementing a cost efficient vehicle care and maintenance plan.
• Must possess good knowledge of vehicle tracking management for company vehicle fleet
• Must have the capability to manage a well developed in-house service station with about 20 auto technicians/mechanics looking after petrol and diesel engine vehicles including trucks
• Good understanding of procedures and policies regarding effective utilization of vehicles in the fleet to achieve desired logistical goals.
• Interested candidates must be computer literate

Position:     Stores and Inventory Managers:

Requirements:

• Interested candidates must be HND or first degree holders in materials Management, Business Management, Social Sciences or other related fields of study.
• Must have minimum of 5 years experience in Store/Inventory management from a manufacturing environment with high rate of activity preferably in a fast moving consumer goods company.
• Candidates must be computer literate with excellent communication and supervisory skills
