TNT Magazine is looking for a talented journalist to join its fast-paced offices in east London

Working for the UK’s oldest free publication, you’ll be confident writing myriad topics – including, but not limited to, entertainment, health, lifestyle,  careers, news, sport and travel.

Responsibilities:

Your copy will read like a sub’s dream, and you will have second-to-none  time management skills – being able to plan ahead to ensure you never miss a deadline.

 

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will be brimming with ideas for fun, quirky and informative features, and will bring a wealth of contacts to our publication, which is aimed at 18-35 year-olds.
  • You’ll have experience of juggling writing content for a magazine with writing web stories – turning copy around quickly and accurately, using  SEOs and uploading them using  our CMS.
  • Our small team of journalists are expected to have a good knowledge of social media and understanding  the benefits of using this medium for features.
  • Although TNT is a weekly publication, you’d be expected to meet daily deadlines, and  use in Design.
  • You will be trained to NCTJ level or  equivalent, and understand journalism isn’t a 9-5 job.
